About the Role
St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School is seeking a caring, responsible, and energetic individual to serve as a Part-Time Aftercare Assistant Teacher. This position supports the safe supervision and engagement of students in our after-school program for grades PK3 through Grade 8 as assigned by the Aftercare Supervisor.
Schedule
17.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Supervising students during indoor and outdoor activities
- Assisting with snack distribution and cleanup
- Supporting homework time and enrichment activities
- Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
- Commitment to upholding the mission and values of a Catholic school
Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks and must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training.
