Key Duties And Responsibilities For Assistant

• Guides and cares for 6 weeks–5-year-olds in a Christ-centered environment.
• Collaborates with the aftercare staff to support each child’s growth in physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development.
• Cares for and implements activities following the school day.
• Assists in implementing the aftercare schedule, including free play, outside time, and activities.
• Supports the implementation of the aftercare schedule, including free play, outside time, and activities.
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with the other aftercare staff.
• Approaches behavioral issues with Christ-centered love, respect, and patience.
• Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.

Key Duties And Responsibilities For Lead

• Guides and cares for 16 months-2 year-olds in a Christ-centered environment.
• Partners with parents, classroom teachers, and supports each child’s growth in their physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development.
• Plans and implements structured free play and activities while children wait to be picked up by parents.
• Creates a Christ-centered learning environment for children ages 16 months-2 years.
• Provides structure, free play, and activities.
• Collaborates with the Toddler + Junior Preschool Teachers in planning activities and relaying communication to parents at pick-up.
• Daily communicates with families on the success, challenges, and activities of the day.
• Follows the directives of the Infant Toddler Director to maintain high standards in the classroom and provide a quality experience for the children.
• Maintains a safe, clean, organized classroom and assumes responsibility to complete duties required to maintain an orderly facility.
• Approaches behavioral issues with Christ-centered love, respect, and patience.
• Attends all required training and staff meetings throughout the year.

Professional And Spiritual Expectations

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Has a commitment to prayer, as evidenced in both corporate and personal prayer.
• Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
• Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry, conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations.
