After School Nanny/Family Assistant

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a career nanny or childcare professional seeking a consistent afternoon schedule with the potential for additional hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up children from school/daycare and provide local transportation to activities.
• Plan and engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and play.
• Manage the afternoon routine, including snacks, playtime, and preparing children for a smooth transition into the evening.
• Provide attentive, nurturing care in a safe and positive environment.
• Affiliate with light household and family tasks during children's downtime, including:
• Children's laundry
• Light meal preparation and cooking
• Loading and unloading dishes
• Maintaining order in shared family spaces

Requirements

• Prior experience caring for multiple young children
• Reliable personal vehicle with a clean driving record
• Organized, proactive, and dependable
• Excellent communication skills
• Interested in building a long-term relationship with the family
• Must love dogs!
