After School Nanny

About the role

The family is seeking a Part-Time Nanny to provide care for two young children (infant and preschool age) in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will enjoy educational play, outdoor activities, and creating a structured but fun afternoon routine.

Responsibilities

• Driving for school/daycare pickup
• Engaging in educational and developmentally appropriate play
• Organizing daily outdoor activities such as park visits and library outings
• Preparing snacks and simple dinner
• Supporting the evening routine and transitions
• Performing light child-related household tasks including children's laundry, dishwasher help, and kitchen tidying

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of childcare experience
• An energetic, engaging, and self-motivated personality
• A mature, responsible, and dependable demeanor
• Comfortable working as part of a caregiving team, including involving grandparents
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Competitive pay based on experience ($26-28)

• Flexible scheduling options: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM, or 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Start date: ASAP

$26-28 per hour

Schedule

Part-time afternoons

Preferred: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Flexible options: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
