About the role
A warm and welcoming Newport family is looking for a dependable, engaging caregiver to become an important part of their weekly routine.
Responsibilities
- Pick up the children from school each afternoon
- Help with homework and provide encouragement with school assignments
- Prepare healthy after-school snacks and simple family meals
- Safely drive the children to after-school activities, including dance and soccer
- Keep the afternoon routine organized, positive, and fun
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where the children can thrive
Requirements
- Has previous childcare experience with school-age children
- Has a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
- Is punctual, dependable, and enjoys building lasting relationships with families
- Is organized and able to manage busy after-school schedules
- Bridges a positive attitude, patience, and energy to each day
- Passionate about helping children succeed
- Enjoy being part of a family's daily routine
