About You

• Genuinely enjoy children and are an engaging, creative, child-focused individual willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and similar activities in families' homes
• Value communication with parents and coworkers
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to commute to assignments
• Bring at least 1 year of day-to-day childcare experience
• Can provide our team with 3 references, 2 related to working with children (paid or unpaid) and 1 character reference
• Are at least 18 years of age or older
• Reliability is important to you and families can depend on you

What You Can Expect

• Care for children in their homes
• Your only household duties will be common sense clean-up of your activities and meals with the child — no other household duties
• Your care will be for children of the ages for which you have previous experience (infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary ages)
• Variety as you engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children's age-appropriate development

Qualifications

• 2+ years childcare, babysitter, or nanny experience, preferably including infant and toddler experience
• Must have a reliable insured vehicle for travel to family homes
• Minimum age of 18, valid driver's license
• Hold a high school diploma/GED
• CPR trained or willing to receive training

Compensation: $17-20 per hour. Several families are looking for an After School nanny (afternoon availability between 2p-7p) in multiple areas. Ages range from 1 month old up to 8 years old.
