After-School Middle School Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers, modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
• Implement curriculum tailored to each child's needs.
• Create a safe, engaging space for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to ensure high-quality care and education.
• Collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners.

Qualifications & Skills

• Outstanding customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meeting NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• PREFERRED: Approved state trainer, 2-3 years ECE experience, bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, meet state-specific qualifications.
• Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and engage in active, outdoor activities.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication with children and parents.

Compensation & Benefits
