Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for after school program
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play
- Supervise and engage with children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure the overall well-being of the children
- Monitor and assess children's progress and developmental needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and connect with children of varying ages and backgrounds
- Patient, nurturing, and reliable individual with a passion for teaching
- Must meet state licensing requirements for childcare providers
