After School Group Leader

About the role

This role offers part-time work during the afternoon hours, typically from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM on weekdays, with some Wednesday shifts starting earlier for early-release schools. No evenings, weekends, or holidays are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead games, sports, and recreational activities
• Plan crafts, STEM projects, and enrichment experiences
• Help students with homework and academic support
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Encourage teamwork, kindness, and respectful behavior
• Keep programs organized, safe, and fun

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Enjoys working with elementary-aged children
• Brought enthusiasm, patience, and a positive attitude
• Dependable and ready to lead by example
• Works well as part of a supportive team
• Wants to make a meaningful difference in their community

Schedule

• Monday through Friday afternoons
• Typical shifts from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM
• Wednesday shifts begin around 12:30 PM for early-release schools
