After School Group Leader
Make afternoons the highlight of the day for elementary-age children by creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where kids can play, learn, explore, and connect.
About the role
As an After School Group Leader, you’ll lead activities like outdoor games, STEM challenges, art projects, and homework help while being a trusted and encouraging adult in children’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Lead games, outdoor play, and recreation
- Plan arts, crafts, STEM, and enrichment activities
- Help children with homework
- Encourage teamwork, confidence, and positive behavior
- Build relationships with children and families
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized program
Requirements
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Energetic and enjoy working with elementary-age children
- Dependable, patient, and encouraging
- Comfortable leading activities and keeping kids engaged
- Positive team player

Pay
$18–$21/hour
Schedule
- Part-time, Monday–Friday afternoons
- Most shifts: 1:30 PM–5:30 PM
- Wednesdays begin around 12:30 PM for early release
- No evenings, weekends, or holiday work
