After-School Assistant Counselor

About the role

Babilou Family US is seeking an After-School Assistant Counselor to join our team. This role supports our mission and contributes to a positive and enriching learning environment for elementary-aged children.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging activities designed to enhance the learning and social development of elementary-aged children.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during after-school hours.
• Foster meaningful partnerships with students, families, and staff to promote a strong sense of community.
• Support the implementation of Sustainable Education® principles, which bridge research and daily practice to help children thrive and lay the foundation for lifelong learning.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new methods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Pay

$18.00-$21.00 per hour for qualified candidates.
