After-School Counselor

South Florida After-School All-Stars is seeking high-energy after-school counselors to engage, encourage, and motivate groups of school-age children. Positions are available in Cutler Bay, Miami Gardens, Miami Beach, and the Miami Lakes/Hialeah area.

About the role

This rewarding and energetic position is ideal for college students or others seeking fulfilling part-time work. Must be available school days from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (times may vary).

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma
• Pass DCF background screening
• Complete 45-hour child care course within 90 days of employment
• Experience working with children is a plus
