About the role
The AFSIM Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex financial data to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial strategies.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes impacting financial analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel/VBA.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience with financial modeling tools such as Bloomberg or Wolfram Alpha.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying.
Skills
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, and VBA.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to present findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
