AFR Higher Ed Awards Recap

The BEST Network was recently honored at the inaugural Australian Financial Review Higher Education Awards, receiving high commendation in the learning experience category. The University of Southern Queensland won the award for their work in improving the higher education learning experience for incarcerated students.

Since launching over two years ago, the network has achieved significant growth:

• Expanded from 109 to 1,621 academic members and over 3,900 student members.
• Grew from 4 to 10 member institutions.
• Increased the image bank from 3,251 to over 18,600 images, with the courseware catalogue expanding to 150+ pieces of content.

The network extends gratitude to everyone involved in making BEST what it is today, celebrating the journey from a grant-funded project to a sustainable network.
