Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform billing duties
  • Answering phones and greeting consumers
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Maintaining and logging utilization of petty cash
  • Order supplies
  • Any and all other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to develop and maintain data tracking systems (e.g. Excel spreadsheets)
  • Good writing skills, including the ability to draft letters and other correspondence
  • The ability to generate timely and accurate billing for program services rendered
  • Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • The ability to develop or improve existing office protocols or work flow
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Cultural competence

Education and Certifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Some college or business courses are preferred

Other Requirements

  • A valid Michigan Driver’s License or State ID is required

Work Environment

  • Generally an office environment with a cubicle or reception area workstation
  • Ability to travel and attend meetings at various locations may be required
  • Some non-traditional hours such as evenings or weekends may be required
