Affiliate Marketing Associate

About the role

The Affiliate Marketing Associate will join Monarch's Growth Marketing team during a period of rapid expansion. Reporting to Eric Recker, this role involves sourcing, onboarding, and optimizing affiliate partners that drive Monarch's key acquisition channel.

Responsibilities

• Source and onboard new affiliate partners using tools like SEMrush, Similarweb, Publisher Discovery, Affistash, and AspireManage
• Day-to-day partner communication to keep onboarding moving smoothly
• Maintain and monitor partner performance, build ad-hoc reporting, and flag anomalies or performance gaps
• Recommend and help implement optimizations to grow affiliate Free Trial Starts and subscriptions
• Partner cross-functionally with Growth Product, Data, and Creative to improve conversion across the affiliate funnel

Requirements

• 2–3 years in affiliate, partner, influencer, or growth marketing (or a closely adjacent role)
• Hands-on experience in an affiliate platform — Impact preferred (CJ or ShareASale also relevant)
• Comfort with basic data analysis: ad-hoc dashboards, spotting anomalies, and simple calculations like period-over-period growth
• Strong verbal and written communication — this is a partner-facing role with frequent outreach
• A curious, resourceful, bias-for-action mindset and comfort working through ambiguity in a startup environment

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Basic knowledge of CRO principles, experience in fintech, subscription, or B2C/SaaS businesses
