We are committed to developing an inclusive and supportive culture, where employees have equal opportunity for growth. $25.00/hour FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary The Marketing Associate is a vital member of the Broadway Across America West Coast team, supporting marketing efforts for Seattle, Portland, Fresno, and Orange County. Working with the Marketing Manager, Senior Director of Marketing and PR, our national marketing team, and local presenting and venue partners, the Marketing Associate assists in the tactical implementation of West Coast marketing campaigns for all of our season engagements. Duties And Responsibilities Assist with executing advertising plans with direction from the Marketing Manager; maintains communication with vendors, press agents, and venue partnersAssist with requesting season and individual show creative for all marketsFacilitate material approvals, locally and with individual show press agents, and traffic ads for each show and season campaignsAssist with proofing season announcement materials and providing feedback to national designersInteract with program publisher to proof and approve all show programsDraft social content calendars for individual shows and season campaigns across marketsMaintain social media accounts for each Broadway Series, including consistent presence over all social media platforms and cross promotions; incorporate National BAA and show content to local social accountsFacilitate cast shoutouts, social media takeovers, special artwork requests, opening night and show week content, etc. for each showSubmit season and show information to local community calendarsMaintain brand consistency across all marketing materialsAttend all events and opening nightsAttend partner marketing meetings / special committees to represent BAA Marketing TeamAssist with execution of special eventsCoordinate opening night invitations to press and VIPsSupport local publicist with occasional press interviews or events, including escorting talent and overseeing interviewsLiaise with current grassroots promotional contacts and develop new partnerships for non-media promotional ideas for individual shows Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: CooperationEstablishes and maintains effective relationshipsActive listenerOffers assistance and support to co-workersWorks cooperatively in group situationsAdaptabilityAble to work around unexpected changes of circumstance or workloadModifies a planned course of action based on new circumstancesChanges communication style to achieve the best resultsFunctional CompetenciesProficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and social media managementAttention to detail, proof-reading, copy-editing skillsAbility to work on multiple projects at a time with good time management skills to meet deadlinesTeam OrientationFosters team cooperationUnderstands team roles and responsibilitiesSupports group problem solving Qualifications Aka KSAOs To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
