About the Role
Deep Blue Med Spa, an award-winning medical spa specializing in advanced aesthetic and wellness treatments and a valued partner of CPP Clinics, is seeking an Aesthetician to join their fast-growing, state-of-the-art clinic in New York. The team of experienced physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical aestheticians provides personalized care through customized treatment plans, combining science-backed treatments with innovative technology to deliver exceptional results in a luxurious setting.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time role with rotating shifts. Clinics are open Monday–Thursday 9AM–8PM and Friday & Saturday 9AM–6PM.
Responsibilities
- Perform cosmetic and aesthetic procedures and treatments involving the skin, face, and body
- Promote client retention through consistent, detailed, and timely follow-up communications and care
- Provide client education, instructions, and counseling related to aesthetic procedures, outcomes, and aftercare
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the image and standards of the practice
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities as required
- Represent the practice with integrity and discretion in all patient and community interactions
- Assist other providers with their clients and the practice's needs as directed
- Assist and support CPP's and the practice's support team as directed
- Demonstrate brand loyalty and promotion of the business as an individual and as a team member
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with applicable practice policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance policies and protocols to protect patients, staff, and the work environment
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and professional regulations, including ongoing monitoring of new or revised legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the position
- Maintain professional competency by participating in continuing education programs, reviewing relevant literature, and collaborating with colleagues to stay informed of developments in aesthetics as an aesthetician
Qualifications
- Valid NY Esthetician License
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the aesthetics field, with a proven track record of building and maintaining a loyal client base
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, educate them on treatments, and provide clear follow-through on their care plans
- Experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery environment is preferred
- Proficient in performing consultations, cross-promoting services and skincare products, and demonstrating the ability to close sales effectively
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of treatments, including facials, chemical peels, Dermaplaning, and advanced procedures such as cosmetic lasers, light-based therapy, micro-needling, and/or CoolSculpting
- Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatment protocols to recommend the best options for each client's unique needs
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $24 – $28 per hour depending on experience, with additional performance-based incentives and benefits.
