About the role

Quality Engineers have the technical ability and expertise to solve complex problems—either technical (product quality) or commercial (processes). They determine root causes and resolve issues, often requiring specialized training in standards like AS9100, auditing, or PPAP/FAIR.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand their QA needs and provide solutions
• Complete customer complaints with customers and suppliers
• Develop plans for standard products and provide to customers and suppliers
• Lead and create internal and external trainings as a subject matter expert
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction
• Review FAIS from factory and send to customers
• Manage customer portals
• Perform and support internal AS9100 audits
• Partner with suppliers to support inspection gaps
• Complete PPAP/FAI as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline
• 3 years’ experience in an engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing role (Master’s degree counts towards 2 years’ experience)
• 2 years’ experience in quality, including experience with complex surfaces and assemblies
• Knowledge of aerospace processes, such as AS9100
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Pay

Compensation range: $75,000–$105,000
