About the role
We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. This position supports the H-1 and V-22 programs by serving as the customer's point of contact and providing on-site logistics support.
Responsibilities
- Provide logistical support to customer by working with 3PL and internal support personnel to ensure timely execution of inventory receipts, shipments, and expedites
- Support the Performance Based Logistics (PBL) Asset Managers; may include tracking, processing of spares, configuration verification, repair, services, and inventory management
- Monitor KPIs, identify potential risks, and coordinate corrective action to support timely daily execution
- Serve as inventory control manager at assigned site and provide customer order status reports, estimated delivery dates and other requested information as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in supply support or logistics
- Good understanding of logistics and supply chain metrics
- Strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented, and organizational skills
- Ability to influence key support organizations to accomplish tasks at hand
- Hardworking, action-oriented, and results driven
- Team player, experience in working in a highly cross-functional organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (word, Excel, Power Point, & MS Outlook), and database applications
- Prior military experience in supply chain and logistics is preferred

- Knowledge of DoD process and experience dealing with relevant U.S. Government regulations
- Proven SAP knowledge in Order Management, Inventory, purchasing, and overall MRP modules
