Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, conduct and/or provide extensive engineering expertise while supporting acquisition, science and technology, test and evaluation, and/or in-service engineering on complex Naval aircraft and/or their associated systems.
- Serve as a technical expert and performs extensive and varied combinations of duties associated with the most complex systems, specifically landing gear systems.
- Coincide and/or participate in meetings and conferences convened to discuss air vehicle engineering issues, problems, design, development of new and upgraded air vehicles and systems, and other similar matters.
- Maintain effective communication with superiors, peers and subordinates throughout the NAVAIR TEAM, other government agencies and private industry regarding various engineering issues.
