Responsibilities
- Safely perform work in communication spaces
- Qualify to work safely in energized spaces
- Participate in work requiring pole climbing
- Inspect, mobilize, and operate a bucket truck from the cab
- Record and report the sequential footmarks by the operator or groundman
- Responsible for framing poles
- Pull cable, strand, fiber, and lash, for extended periods of time
- Provide framing and attachment hardware for the operator, jack-down guys, pull lashes
- Work in both communication and power spaces
- Perform pole transfers, strand building, lashing, make-readies, and mounting equipment
Requirements
- 2-4 years of relevant Fiber Optics experience preferred
- Mastery of Aerial Construction Technician I Job Duties
- Experience operating small equipment experience (i.e., forklift, bobcat, telehandler, skid steer, etc.)
- Flagger Certification
- Comfortable working at elevated heights and confined spaces
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a thorough background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

- Fiber Optics installation and maintenance

- Field repair and documentation
- Basic hand tool proficiency (Cordless Drill, Hammer, Wrench, Socket Set)
