Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and determine necessary care.
- Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Create a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Utilize appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
- Operate an ambulance according to company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs in a professional manner.
Other Responsibilities
- Engage in community programs to enhance AMR's image and foster strong community relationships.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Kansas EMT Certification or Kansas Eligibility.
- CPR certification.
- NREMT certification preferred.
- State Driver’s License.
- Compliant driving record.
- Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
