Advisory Services Consultant, Consultant Development Program - Multiple Locations

About the role

Optum Insight is a division of Optum, a part of UnitedHealth Group, dedicated to improving the health care system through analytics, technology, and consulting services. The full-time position is available starting in Summer 2026 in either Eden Prairie, MN or Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Enable strategic business transformation through technology, process improvement, and innovation
• Conduct research and stakeholder interviews to analyze and present data and recommendations to clients
• Navigate client-facing interactions, presentations, and relationship building in various scenarios
• Manage project requirements, create presentations, and support project budgets
• Document customer/client requirements through clear and effective communication
• Analyze business process re-engineering opportunities and document before and after process flows
• Support and inform clients in making strategic decisions and enhancing their organizations' strategy, productivity, performance, and profitability

Qualifications

• Master's degree within the past 24 months OR bachelor's degree within the past 24 months and 2+ years of professional experience
• Ability to work in an office on a hybrid schedule and travel up to 80%
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• 3.0 GPA, healthcare experience, intermediate MS Office skills, and proven intellectual curiosity preferred

Pay

The salary for this role ranges from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. Employees working remotely must adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule with 3 days in-office per week.
