Responsibilities

  • Help execute and develop processes and strategy improvements across multiple procurement, supply chain and operations disciplines to include Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement Optimization, Order Fulfillment, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Business Process Redesign, Reverse Logistics, Continuous Process Improvement, E-Commerce and Supply Chain Risk Management
  • Support service delivery and/or software implementation projects within the supply chain continuum
  • Develop and sustain relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to provide additional services
  • Contribute to design, preparation and analysis of reports and findings in a clear, logical and concise manner
  • Complete quantitative and qualitative analysis in a structured and scalable format

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations or equivalent program
  • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Working knowledge of procurement, supply chain, or E-commerce operations; interest and aptitude for technology such as Coupa, Ivalua, JDA, Oracle Commerce Cloud and Ariba preferred
  • Strong technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility skills; demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes, coupled with a professional demeanor and a collaborative leadership approach, in a dynamic, evolving environment
  • Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications used by our clients
  • Strong communication, organization and relationship-building skills, with the ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism, manage priorities across multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work in a professional services capacity
  • Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office/client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadership
  • Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need; you must be located within the U.S. when working remotely; client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)
