About the Role
Orgill is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Program Manager to lead our multi-year ERP Modernization roadmap and transition to Oracle Cloud ERP. This role involves overseeing multiple, complex technology initiatives from inception through implementation, supporting Business and Technology leaders to develop strategies, translate them into actionable plans, and ensure successful execution across cross-functional teams. The position offers an opportunity to drive high-stakes projects and organizational transformation in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Oracle roadmap and governance across Cloud Fusion ERP.
- Partner with Technology and Business leadership, technology teams, vendor partners, and business end users to orchestrate planning, creation, management, and rollout of technology solutions.
- Lead and coordinate multiple technical projects across various teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and organizational standards.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to capture functional and technical details supporting project scope, solution definitions, objectives, and success criteria.
- Collaborate with vendors, internal technical teams, and SMEs to develop work levels of effort, cost estimates, and project budgets.
- Apply situationally-appropriate life cycles and methodologies (predictive, agile, lean) to advance projects, continuous improvements, and complementary work.
- Oversee enterprise software implementations and SDLC, including analysis, design, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Develop comprehensive project plans using project management software tools; manage schedules, milestones, deliverables, and costs.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively; implement responses to minimize impact and maximize benefit.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams, business units, and executive leadership; prepare status reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Employ Change Management methods to ensure effective stakeholder transitions through change journeys with minimal impact.
- Coordinate with IT Infrastructure and Operations teams to ensure seamless transition of technology solutions into Orgill’s technology ecosystems.
- Ensure adherence to project management and enterprise architecture best practices.
- Promote IT governance standards and compliance throughout project lifecycles; support organizational initiatives related to IT strategy and enterprise architecture.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of ERP program and/or project management experience, including demonstrated ability to lead multi-pillar, multi-project programs.
- Demonstrated leadership of multiple Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.
- Project management and/or hands-on experience with the following technologies: Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Integrations via Oracle Cloud Integration Service, Mulesoft or equivalent.
- Experience with analytics technologies such as Snowflake, Oracle Cloud Analytics, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, JDE).
- Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
- Strong time management, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Wrike (preferred), Jira (preferred).
Skills
- A proven track record of successfully planning, implementing, and deploying technical projects, including Oracle Cloud Fusion enterprise implementations.
- Expert knowledge of both agile and traditional project management practices, project artifacts, and documentation standards.
- Strong proficiency in project scheduling and issue tracking tools, as well as office applications such as Google Workspace.
- Solid understanding of information technology architecture, platforms, and concepts, including SDLC, cloud computing, IT infrastructure, databases, and integrations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex technical issues and interpret/convey them to a non-technical audience.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams; strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels; adept at negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and build interpersonal relationships.
- Sound grasp of key business drivers and considerations in technical domains.
- Experience in the Distribution, Warehousing, and/or Retail industry (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification (PMP, PGMP, PMI-ACP).
- Oracle Cloud Project Management Professional and/or other Oracle Cloud certifications.
- Experience with quarterly Oracle Cloud HCM updates.
- Experience in Wholesale, Retail, and/or Distribution Warehousing.
