Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary financial liaison for IT administrative and strategic areas, including:
- Lead annual IT operating and capital budgeting activities (planning, development, and submission) in partnership with IT leaders and Finance
- Own monthly financial reviews, variance analysis, forecasting, and executive-ready summaries
- Act as the conduit between IT and Finance partners, ensuring alignment, clarity, and timely communication
- Support capital planning and portfolio prioritization, including business case development and funding governance
- Track financial performance of strategic initiatives, ensuring adherence to approved funding and outcomes
- Identify opportunities for financial optimization, reinvestment, and risk mitigation
- Support Enterprise And IT-wide Strategy Execution By:
- Maintain and update corporate and IT dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting
- Track progress against IT strategic pillars, roadmaps, and transformation initiatives
- Coordinate inputs for enterprise planning cycles, board-level reporting, and leadership reviews
- Ensure consistency of metrics, definitions, and reporting narratives across IT
- Enable Transformation & Change Efforts By:
- Support large-scale IT transformation and organizational change initiatives
- Apply structured change management principles to ensure adoption and sustainability
- Partner with leaders to define success measures, milestones, and communication plans
- Provide execution rigor across initiatives spanning people, process, and technology changes
- Manage Projects & Initiatives By:
- Lead or support cross-functional projects with defined scope, timelines, and outcomes
- Apply project and portfolio management practices to ensure accountability and progress
- Facilitate leadership routines (planning sessions, execution reviews, retrospectives)
- Build and maintain execution artifacts such as roadmaps, workplans, risk logs, and decision records
- Advise on Financial, Operational, and Strategic Matters By:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Director and IT leaders on financial, operational, and strategic matters
- Translate complex data into clear, executive-level insights and narratives
- Prepare leadership presentations, executive briefings, and strategic communications
- Influence without authority in a matrixed environment to drive outcomes
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in IT administration, financial management, strategy execution, or PMO functions
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex budgets and executive financial reporting
- Strong project management experience supporting enterprise-level initiatives
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline
- Ability to operate effectively at both tactical and executive levels
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to synthesize big-picture insights
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving structure
- Prowess in leading change and influencing outcomes
