Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of company and business unit HR strategies, programs, and processes (e.g., ongoing salary administration and annual compensation cycle, benefit programs, performance management, new employee on-boarding and off-boarding activities for departing employees)
- Provide support and training to leaders in the interpretation and use of HR policies, processes, and programs at local divisional and regional meetings
- Ensure legal compliance of state and federal HR regulations and employment laws for the multiple states
- Partner with COEs (HR Operations, Total Rewards, Internal Legal Counsel, Talent Management and Development, Talent Acquisition & Culture) to ensure the completeness and accuracy of employment documentation, to support the effective delivery of HR services, and to implement HR strategies, programs, and processes
- Participate in transformational change and organizational design activities within assigned business area
- Participate in resolving moderately complex employee relations matters including participating in internal investigations
- Participate in various HR projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (HR degree preferred); experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience including Human Resources (employee investigations, worker's comp, leave of absences, etc.) required
- Ability to work with all levels of leaders across different geographies
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification preferred
- Experience operating within an HRIS system preferred

Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role, in Maine and Virginia, is between $71,700 - $112,530 and in New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Connecticut, is between $79,100 - 124,190 and in Rhode Island and Virgina, is between $75,300 - $118,250. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
Details of the benefits package will be shared in the application process. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee. Details will be discussed through the application process.
