About the role
Nutrien is seeking a Human Resources professional to join our team. This individual will play a key role in implementing HR strategies, supporting leadership, ensuring compliance, and handling employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Implement company and business unit HR strategies, programs, and processes
- Provide support and training to leaders on HR policies, processes, and programs
- Ensure legal compliance of state and federal HR regulations and employment laws
- Partner with COEs to ensure completeness and accuracy of employment documentation
- Participate in transformational change and organizational design activities
- Resolve moderately complex employee relations matters, including participating in internal investigations
- Participate in various HR projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (HR degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, including experience in areas such as employee investigations, worker's comp, leave of absence management, etc.
- Ability to work with all levels of leaders across different geographies
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification preferred
- Experience operating within an HRIS system preferred

- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of relevant experience

Pay
The salary range for this role in Illinois is between $75,300 - $118,250 and in Minnesota is between $71,700 - $112,530. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
Schedule
This role is full-time and requires occasional travel up to 20%.
