About the role
Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services. This role is part of the Advisor Development Program (ADP), specifically as a Financial Solutions Advisor Trainee (FSAT).
Responsibilities
- Obtain Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66)
- Learn foundational skills for being an advisor, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships
- Deliver Bank of America's core banking, investment solutions, and client care
- Progress through stages of development, starting as a FSAT and potentially becoming a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA)
- Support from dedicated programs, tools, and resources provided by the Academy
Requirements
- Successfully complete Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66)
- Proven ability to set and achieve goals
- Comfortable in a sales role, able to find ways to nurture strong relationships with prospective clients
- Effective communicator with clear and confident communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills, able to work well with others and collaborate productively
- Ability to manage complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable, learning on the fly and seeking the right solutions for clients
- Efficient time management and capacity utilization
- Thoroughness in incorporating relevant regulatory due diligence into daily tasks and long-term strategies
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in the financial service industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- Experience assessing client needs, identifying/recommending solutions, and building/managing client relationships
