About the role

OCL is actively involved in the Open Charge Alliance (OCA), which was founded since the company's inception. The standards they develop are crucial for making electric mobility scalable, reliable, and accessible worldwide. As such, OCA is sharing this vacancy from the Open Charge Alliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication strategies to increase the visibility of open protocols like OCPP.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, experts, and organizations to support the growth of the global OCA community.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
• Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns to drive engagement and awareness.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to inform and adapt communication strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and/or communications roles.
• Proven ability to develop and implement successful communication strategies.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with open-source projects and community management.
• Knowledge of charging infrastructure and related technologies.
• Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus.
