About the role

Inspiring "Adventure For Life", Adrenaline Monkey is an innovative family adventure park dedicated to empowering guests of all ages, sizes, and abilities through adrenaline-pumping adventures.

Responsibilities

  • Embrace adventure and entertain guests for hours at a time
  • Provide experiences for everyone: drop-ins, birthday parties, group events, team-building outings, holiday/summer camps, after-school, homeschool hang, sensory-friendly time, toddler time, youth/adult classes, competitions
  • Check-in members and customers for daily activities
  • Ensure correct equipment is available for the adventure course, and proper set up of all play areas
  • Ensure events start on time and are paced accurately
  • Provide supervision on adventure equipment (walls, courses, etc.)
  • Keep supervisor/manager/owner informed of issues and updates
  • Aid in program coordination and execution
  • Be knowledgeable about prices, programming, and events
  • Resolve all guest concerns and complaints and/or direct them to the appropriate Manager
  • Know and enforce the park's policies, procedures, and rules
  • Opportunities to provide adventure instruction and coach youth (based on experience)
  • Complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as directed

Requirements

  • Ability to work with a wide variety of ages from pre-school through adult
  • Sports experience or an interest in learning
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance are necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented and outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
  • Respectful and friendly to our guests
  • Take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
  • Commitment to the safety and well-being of others

Qualifications

Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist-high

Will be required to stand for extended periods

Able to enter information on computers

The park has intermittent noise

Adventure Troop Members

Adventure Troop Members are responsible for a varying number of activities throughout their shift, providing participants with a high-quality experience. Examples of daily activities include and will vary by position include:
