Your role is crucial in expanding our reach, nurturing relationships, and ensuring that every touchpoint—be it with affiliates, the community, or customers—reflects our commitment to excellence. You are the voice and face of Spearfish Canyon Lodge in the broader community, embodying our brand values and helping to manifest our vision of unforgettable adventures.

Responsibilities

• Affiliate Management
• Oversee and Expand Affiliate Relationships
• Identify and onboard new affiliate partners to broaden our network.
• Nurture existing relationships to maximize mutual benefits.
• Collaborate with affiliates to develop strategies that boost sales.
• Communication
• Create and distribute a monthly affiliate newsletter to keep partners informed and engaged.
• Community Engagement
• Representation
• Attend chamber meetings, tourism conferences, and community events as a Spearfish Canyon Lodge ambassador.
• Initiatives
• Organize and participate in sponsorships, giveaways, and local events to enhance brand visibility and community ties.
• Sales and Customer Service
• Phone Sales Management
• Maintain and improve phone sales activities.
• Handle outbound sales calls to potential customers and partners.
• Manage after-hours phone calls and messages to ensure timely responses.
• Customer Escalations
• Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
• Product Knowledge and Content Management
• Expertise
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Spearfish Canyon Resorts products and services.
• Information Updates
• Regularly update and modify FAQs to reflect current offerings and customer inquiries.
• Online Presence
• Manage business listings on Google My Business, Apple Maps, and other platforms.
• Oversee Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) to ensure accurate and compelling content.
• Operational Coordination
• Resource Management
• Manage shared resources and handle transfer requests efficiently.
• Sales and Promotions
• Implement and execute sales campaigns and promotional activities.
• Booking Management
• Oversee corporate, affiliate, and influencer bookings to ensure seamless experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or affiliate management is preferred.
• Skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge
• Familiarity with the adventure tourism industry is a plus.
• Understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
• Personal Attributes
• High level of enthusiasm and passion for outdoor adventures.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

● Spearfish Canyon Lodge is a 57 room lodge consisted with Premier rooms and many suites, full service lounge, and great room featuring a 40’ stone fireplace. The property also consists of a full service restaurant across the street name the Latchstring Restaurant. We are busy throughout the year with many corporate & group outings, bus tours, and many weddings. Our property also features Spearfish Canyon Adventures where we rent snowmobiles, UTV’s, SlingShots, fishing equipment, snowshoes, and much more.
