About the role
The successful candidate will have a strong background in hotel sales and a genuine commitment to service excellence. You will lead sales efforts across multiple segments, manage RFP processes, analyze performance trends, and collaborate with the operations and revenue teams to optimize occupancy and profitability. This position blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, providing a unique opportunity to influence both the hotel’s financial success and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, and the local community.
- Lead sales efforts across multiple segments, including but not limited to corporate, leisure, and meetings and events.
- Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to ensure competitive and effective responses.
- Analyze performance trends to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the operations and revenue teams to optimize occupancy and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and the local community to foster long-term business relationships.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales or related field.
- A proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Experience managing RFP processes and analyzing performance data.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- A bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
