About the role
The Adventure Concierge is responsible for the reservations and coordination of daily Fly Fishing and Nell Adventure trips. This position promotes experiences and trips using knowledge of the surrounding area. They ensure all equipment is in good condition and handle the sales of fly fishing and adventure retail. This role works closely with the Front Desk and Concierge teams in communicating guest activities.
Responsibilities
- Recommend and book activities for guest’s ability / skill level and interest
- Use of the hotel’s property management systems to book and close checks
- Aid in end of month inventory for shop supplies and daily trip logs
- Identify and build relationships with key individuals and vendors to supply activities
- Develop excellent communication tools to promote this service
- Help ensure all trips are set up for success, i.e. F&B orders, vehicles and guides available, guest’s preferences for special occasions, etc.
- Ensure accuracy of information taken from guests and given to vendors
- Ensure vendors uphold The Little Nell service standards with each guest experience and interaction
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school Diploma
- One year of experience in a guest or customer service role
- Knowledge of outdoor adventure activities within the surrounding area
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences
- Proficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and guests
- Able to work independently, exercise initiative, identify and solve problems, deal with unexpected issues and to follow up to completion
- Able to deal courteously and effectively with all levels of management and external partners
- Able to be a team player
Qualifications
- Education & Experience Requirements: High school Diploma, one year of experience in a guest or customer service role
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of outdoor adventure activities within the surrounding area, knowledge of Microsoft Suite, strong communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences, proficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and guests, able to work independently, exercise initiative, identify and solve problems, deal with unexpected issues and to follow up to completion, able to deal courteously and effectively with all levels of management and external partners, able to be a team player
