About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the university's technology infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of all university IT systems
- Manage the technical support team to ensure prompt resolution of user issues
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and security of the university's IT operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in IT management
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficiency in ITIL service management framework
- Knowledge of network administration and cybersecurity principles
- Experience with project management tools like Jira or Trello
