About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the university's technology infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of all university IT systems
  • Manage the technical support team to ensure prompt resolution of user issues
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and security of the university's IT operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in IT management
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

  • Proficiency in ITIL service management framework
  • Knowledge of network administration and cybersecurity principles
  • Experience with project management tools like Jira or Trello

$80,000 - $90,000 annually
