Advanced V&V Engineer

About the role

PAR Systems is a world leader in designing and developing advanced automation and control systems for Aerospace, Life Science, and Nuclear markets. We are seeking an Advanced Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer to ensure our systems meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Support verification and validation activity planning and execution
• Analyze requirements traceability
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and project teams from design through commissioning
• Contribute to V&V process improvements
• Support compliance with applicable standards such as NQA-1, IEEE, and IEC
• Help strengthen consistency across projects
• Work with Engineering, Quality, and Project Management to align analytical reports and testing activities with technical requirements, schedules, and regulatory expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in Verification & Validation, Systems Engineering, Software Quality, or Quality Engineering in a regulated industry such as nuclear, aerospace, defense, medical device, or similar
• Strong understanding of requirements management, configuration management, and requirements traceability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, audit-ready documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, quality, and project teams
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and ownership skills to ensure adequate follow-through with multiple interacting tasks

Pay

The starting rate of pay for this salaried position is targeted at $90,000-110,000 annually.
