A/V Engineer

We are looking for a candidate who understands both AV events and AV maintenance for fully installed, corporate AV systems. We provide event tech consultation to event organizers to save time, pressure, and money.

About the role

This role relies heavily on project management skills. You will monitor global requests, process your own pipeline, advise on and develop multiple Run of Show (ROS) documents, and provide hands-on AV tech operation and system maintenance as needed. The work is tied to broader AV Team efforts, encouraging forward-thinking alongside day-to-day operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain all installed corporate AV event systems.
• Administer an event projects pipeline by assessing incoming requests.
• Develop technical game plans and the ROS for internal corporate events.
• Provide technical direction and operation on-site or remotely as needed.
• Contribute to the development of future corporate AV event systems.
• Contribute to the development and refining of the Event Support service.
• Manage and execute projects as assigned.
• Document variances in event operations and escalate to AV engineers as appropriate.

Work Environment

Fast-paced, can be high-stress, but operates in a casual tech environment.

Customers

• Internal: Company-hosted events (assisting in planning and building AV events).
• External: AV vendors (ensuring smooth event planning).

Non-Technical Skills

Solid candidates would be confident, knowledgeable, proactive, organized, with great communication and writing skills.

Requirements

• Understanding of Crestron Systems (CP3N, DMMD).
• Experience with mic setup (ULXD/QLXD).
• Knowledge of Zoom administration.
• DSP experience (re-routing and manual mapping).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $57.00 per hour. Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
