Advanced Rad Tech - PRN, Varies/Rotating

About the role

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, upholding high-quality imaging standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.

Location: Mercy Hospital Stoddard, 1200 North One Mile Rd, Dexter, MO 63841

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic imaging equipment
• Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards
• Document procedures and findings accurately
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
• One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
• State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating radiographic imaging equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
