Responsibilities

  • Rotate between Ascension Via Christi Hospital – St. Joseph, Ascension Via Christi Hospital – St. Teresa, and Ascension Via Christi Hospital – St. Francis.
  • Work in an 801-bed facility with a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, burn unit, and tertiary care center.
  • Treat patients in a 30-bed main ED with an annual volume of 55,000+ and all backup specialties.
  • Leverage Vituity scribe assistance for physicians.
  • Participate in accredited Chest pain and STEMI Center and Bariatric Center of Excellence.
  • Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of ED experience required.
  • Current national certification and DEA required.
  • Current KS state license, PALS and ACLS are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must be board certified or eligible for board certification.
  • Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Kansas.
  • Must have a current DEA license.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
