Position Summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Division of Cardiology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty medical care in Electrophysiology (EP) within the Hybrid (Outpatient & Inpatient) settings. This position is located at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

Schedule

Full time, 1.0 fte
Hours may vary, and will range from Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5 pm, with occasional additional hours based on clinical needs.
Requires flexibility to work evening &/or weekend hours in the future based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: NP or PA experience
  • Outpatient, inpatient, adult care, acute care, &/or critical care Cardiology PA, NP, &/or RN experience strongly preferred
  • Adult Care or Acute Care NP certification

Minimum Education

  • Nurse Practitioner: Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing from a nationally accredited organization.
  • Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC-PA-accredited organization.

Certification Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner: Certification from a nationally accredited professional nursing organization
  • BLS ACLS CITI Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
  • Physician Assistant: Wisconsin Physician Assistant License
  • NCCPA Certification
  • BLS ACLS CITI Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
