Advanced Practice Provider- Walk-In Clinic

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients presenting to a walk-in clinic for acute and non-emergent conditions
  • Perform focused history and physical exams
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
  • Diagnose and manage common conditions such as infections, minor injuries, rashes, musculoskeletal complaints, and other episodic concerns
  • Provide treatment plans, prescribe medications, and coordinate appropriate follow-up care
  • Deliver patient education on diagnoses, medications, and self-care
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical staff as needed

Requirements

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Active Illinois license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • National certification in respective discipline
  • Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or walk-in clinic settings preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a wide range of presenting complaints
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, independent practice environment
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Experience with EMR systems preferred

Qualifications

Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)

Active Illinois license (or eligibility to obtain)

Reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is between $110,000-$125,000 plus production bonus on an annualized basis

Pay

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure

Schedule

12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

Flexible scheduling options including weekdays, weekends, and rotating coverage
