About the Role
Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse) for the Neuro Intensive Care Unit. The provider will manage neuro-critical care patients, augmenting the existing team of Neurointensivists, other APPs, and rotational Residents in Neurology and Neurosurgery. This is a per diem position. The provider should be comfortable reviewing imaging, and training will be provided to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Manage neuro-critical care patients in collaboration with Neurointensivists, other APPs, and Residents.
- Review and interpret imaging as part of patient care.
Requirements
- Board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Active New Jersey license.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Experience in ICU, Neurosurgery, In-patient Neurology, Trauma, Surgery, Hospitalist, and/or Emergency Medicine.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
