Responsibilities
- Complete, detailed, and accurate health histories
- Review patient records
- Develop comprehensive medical assessments
- Order laboratory, radiological and diagnostic studies
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses
- Institute therapy or referrals
- Institute emergency measures and treatment
- Interpret and analyze patient data
- Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care
Requirements
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified – (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred)
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required
- Able to multi-task and work independently
