Responsibilities

The experienced Advanced Practice Provider will manage neurosurgical patients at Inspira Mullica Hill and Inspira Vineland as part of the neurosurgery inpatient service by conducting independent rounds ICU/stepdown/floor, triaging of ED patient/inpatient issues. Possible first assist in the OR. APP should be comfortable with conducting a comprehensive neurologic exam, rounding, basic image review to determine surgical emergencies, patient/family education, drain management and removal.

Experience Required

Experience is required to meet the needs of this complex patient cohort. Ideally, 2+ years of relevant experience including Neurosurgery, Trauma, Other Surgical subspecialties, neuro ICU. Short onboarding/training available.

Education Requirements

A Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.

Licenses/Certifications Requirements

  • Board certification Nurse Practitioner or Board certification as Physician Assistant;
  • Active New Jersey License;
  • American Heart Association BLS.

Special Requirements

  • Scheduled Days / Hours: Per Diem - 7am-5pm weekend/weekday needs

The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.

A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
