About SSM Health SSM Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Community Description SSM Health is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our busy Urgent Care clinic in Harrah, Oklahoma; A new facility built in February of 2022! Position Highlights Schedule: 14 twelve-hour shifts per monthOperation: Clinic operates 7 days a weekPractice Layout: 5 exam rooms and 1 procedure roomStaffing: Current practicing NP and dedicated support teamIncluding Medical Assistants and Office Assistant supportOn-site Services: Laboratory services availablePatient Population: Treat patients of all agesExisting panel of patients Responsibilities Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensureEvaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuriesPerform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care) Required Qualifications Minimum of 1-year experience as a practicing providerActive, unrestricted Oklahoma PA licenseBoard-certified or board-eligiblePA: NCCPAActive DEA (or ability to obtain)BLS certificationAbility to treat patients of all agesEHR proficiency - EPICWillingness to work occasional weekends Preferred Qualifications Urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast track experienceStrong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)Experience with initial X-ray interpretation Harrah, Oklahoma is a welcoming community east of Oklahoma City, offering residents a quieter small-town setting with convenient access to the OKC metro area.
