About the role
As an APP in our Gastroenterology department, you will work closely with experienced gastroenterologists, nurses, and support staff to deliver high-quality outpatient and inpatient GI care. This role offers meaningful autonomy within a supportive, team-oriented structure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive GI evaluations, follow-up visits, and chronic disease management
- Perform and interpret GI-related diagnostic assessments
- Support inpatient consults and rounding as needed
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide patient education and promote long-term GI health
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
Qualifications
- Licensed NP or PA in the state of New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient-engagement abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
