Advanced Practice Provider_ Inpatient GI
About the Role
The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a hospital-based Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our inpatient Gastroenterology (GI) group in Greater Cincinnati. The candidate will perform medical evaluations for patients and help manage overflow volumes for the GI group.
- Full-time – 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- No night or weekend commitment
- On-site, inpatient hospital-based position
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate from an accredited Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
License/Certification
For Certified Nurse Practitioners:
- DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certified
- Acute Care, Adult, or Family Nurse Practitioner certification verified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Current, valid license (registration) by the Ohio Board of Nursing or applicable state board
For Physician Assistants:
- Graduate from an accredited physician assistant program with a Master's Degree
- Physician Assistant Certification verified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current, valid license (registration) by the State Medical Board of Ohio or applicable state medical board
- Current Certificate to prescribe by the State Medical Board of Ohio
