Advanced Practice Provider - New York Cancer & Blood Specialists
About the role
New York Cancer & Blood Specialists is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider who is passionate about building meaningful patient relationships and being an integral part of the cancer care journey. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced physicians within a highly collaborative team, helping patients navigate treatment, recovery, and survivorship with confidence and support. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Provide medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and counseling
- Manage patient encounters, including consultations, exams, and follow-ups
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Stay updated on the latest advances in oncology through continuing education
Requirements
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Hematology/Oncology
- Current certification as NP-C or PA-C
- Active New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field (for Nurse Practitioners)
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (for Physician Assistants)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Hematology/Oncology

Pay
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary Range: between $140,000 - $165,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday.
