Advanced Practice Provider - Neonatology
About the role
Seattle Children’s is seeking a dedicated and resilient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Neonatal Intensive Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team. This role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, providing critical care to neonates across their expansive regional program.
Responsibilities
Assessment, diagnosis, initiation of treatment, performance of life-saving procedures, and evaluation of outcomes.
Working in a tiered system (Level II-IV) across seven institutions throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Engagement in clinical research, education, consultation, and the evaluation of clinical practice.
Requirements
Nurse Practitioner: Minimum of a master’s degree specifically in a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program. Current NNP Certification is required.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program. Current PA-C Certification is required.
Qualifications
Washington State Licensure (ARNP or PA-C).
DEA Registration for the State of Washington.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support): Required within 6 months of hire for those rotating through their Level IV NICU.
